A number of attorneys from two Savannah law firms — HunterMaclean and Bouhan, Williams & Levy LLP — have been selected for inclusion on the 2012 Georgia Super Lawyers list and as Georgia Rising Stars.
From HunterMaclean, Colin McRae was picked as a 2012 Rising Star. His practice areas include admiralty, business litigation, real estate litigation and intellectual property law.
From Bouhan, Williams & Levy, Greg Sewell and John B. Manly were chosen as Rising Stars.
Manly practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice defense and commercial litigation.
Sewell engages in a predominately civil litigation practice.
Rising Stars are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
HunterMaclean attorneys recognized as 2012 Georgia Super Lawyers include the following:
• T. Mills Fleming;
• Wade W. Herring, II;
• Dennis B. Keene;
• Frank S. Macgill;
• Christopher W. Phillips;
• Janet Shirley;
• W. Brooks Stillwell, III;
• John M. Tatum;

“We are delighted to have so many partners from our firm selected for this year’s Super Lawyers list,” said Frank S. Macgill, HunterMaclean’s managing partner. “Our attorneys work hard for our clients and it shows.”
“Super lawyers” from Bouhan, Williams & Levy include Carlton Joyce, B.H. Levy, Jr. and Edwin D. Robb, Jr.
Joyce concentrates in the areas of aviation law, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense.
Levy concentrates on workers’ compensation and commercial transactions.
Robb specializes in admiralty, general casualty and transportation law.
Only five percent of the attorneys in Georgia are chosen each year to be included on the Super Lawyers list. It’s a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Atlanta Magazine will run the list of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars in its March 2012 issue.
